On the 12th of October 2021 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Mid-West University, Nepal and Chandigarh University, India held at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. The Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh and the Pro-Chancellor of Chandigarh University Prof. Dr. R.S. Bawa signed the MoU in the presence of professors and officials of the universities.
The aim of the MoU is to foster academic cooperation and bilateral relations between the two universities and nations. After the MoU signing ceremony, press meet was held and briefed about the purpose of the MoU. Both the universities signed agreement for academic excellence, faculty and student exchange, research collaboration, quality education, positive environment, paradigm shift, transformative initiatives, cultural and contextual relevant models for development. It also aims to create opportunities for professional development in order to prepare the human resources fit to 21st century to face the global needs. The MoU shall remain in force for a period of five years from the date of its signature and will be extended with mutual understanding.
